I woke up super early (for me) & let Dan & Gigi sleep a few extra hours while I did one of my favorite things...sew! I made Gigi this little Princess Tiana dress. I finally found an easy pattern with no lining, zipper, buttons or snaps! Many future dresses will be made like this one! LOL!
I went through another box tonight. Mostly nonsense notes from high-school boy friends. It's pretty comical to read them now. Each one (including Dan) pledge their eternal love...yadda, yadda, yadda! I even found a marriage proposal! Yep, in a note that was probably passed to me in a class! Oh young love! I filled an entire garbage bag so I did a good job on that box! I did save the pig! I don't know why??? I made a pig shaped cutting board in shop class. It just didn't feel right throwing him out!
Papa helped Dan take apart the TV cabinet so we have a usable stand now for the TV we bought on black Friday last year. I'm sure if we knew it would still be in the box this many months later we probably wouldn't have bought it!
Well, if we keep up this pace we should have the rest of the boxes out of the dining room by this time next year! LOL! That won't do!
