It's just crazy that a year has gone by so quickly!!! One year ago today I held my baby girl for the first time. My sweet, precious little angel who fell asleep in my arms as I fell more and more in love with her. I just can't imagine my life without her anymore. How we were brought together in this world of billions of people is beyond my ability to understand but I know that there is no other child that could have taken her place! She is and will always be our Gigi!!! I love her so much.
We joke about how they asked us several times in China if we are satisfied. What a silly thing to ask us and what a silly word! There is no word or enough words in the world that can express what we feel about our baby but yes, we are most definitely still satisfied!!!
We hope to give our little Xi Xi ("she-she" - her Chinese nickname) a fun-filled day today. We are planning on taking her to Sea World for our first family visit there. I'm sure she will love it! She's also going to get a special present that we bought her while we were in China. I'm not quite sure yet what it will be. We picked out lots of fun gifts while we were there so every year we can give her a special gift from China on our special Gotcha Day anniversary!
After our fun day together we'll head over to Nana & Papa's tonight for Tegan's 9th birthday party where there will be a whole bunch of "Perrotta" cousins!!! We have lots of visitors this week...Aunt Mary, Uncle Patty & Aunt Carol, Patty boy and a whole bunch of cousins and next week Sara & John come too!!!
