Gigi requested juice this morning rather than her usual milk. "Sure Gigi! You can have juice."
I decided to put her juice in a sippy cup instead of a bottle. She was not happy at al! She sat on her bean bag for 30 minutes saying no thank you over & over! All the while I was washing bottles & dishes trying to reason with her. That didn't work.
After a while I prepared her something to eat and the sippy cup came with us. She was so mad and wouldn't drink and then it happened...I won! She gave in & drank from the sippy cup and her world did not come crumbling down around her & I guess she realized it tastes the same from the sippy cup as it does from the bottle and all was well in her world again!
I was so excited for her that I ran for her sticker card and gave her a sticker for being so very brave as to drink juice from a sippy cup and leave the bottle behind!!! LOL! I'm just trying to help her out...she lost a lot of stickers at Nana's yesterday! I'm not sure she'll ever get to the next "present"!
