We're on our way to a dance supplies store but thought we would give the Big K a try but they let us down...no shoes there! Gigi actually stopped & posed for a picture because of her new friends Woody & Buzz!

Yay! Signing Times!

My baby couldn't be happier this morning! When I pulled out the DVD her little face lit up & she kept saying & signing "Signing Times!" As if she didn't believe her eyes.

It's been several weeks since she watched one of the DVDs and this one is one of our favorites...it's the one that taught us how to sign the alphabet, a ton of new vocabulary, & silly songs like the one about how lonely "X" is!!! LOL!

I know she will have a great day today! Swimming, Signing Times, Nana's homemade soup, & a nap!!! What more can she need in life!

Gigi asked if she could wear her Princess Tiana costume today and I couldn't help but say yes! I'm sure it won't stay on too long at Nana's but she just looks so sweet & loves playing dress up! I love my little princess!

We went to see if we could find Gigi ballet & tap shoes for her summer classes & I just couldn't help but have her try on these adorable flower flip flops. If only they had a strap around the ankle...she worked so hard to keep them on her little feet. So cute!

No dance shoes in her size! Not sure if we'll find them small enough! Ugh!

My Super Smart Baby!!!

Gigi knows the sound for every letter of the alphabet!!! We just went through each letter & she didn't miss any! She doesn't know the ones that have two sounds yet but I'm sure it won't be long before she masters that too. She amazes me on a daily basis!!! We are on our way to sign her up for her summer dance lessons. I'm so excited for her. I know she's going to love it!

Mommy-cam!

Ii haven't posted a mommy-cam picture in a while...Dan & Gigi picked me up from work tonight & we ran up to the mall ro get another Princess Tiana nightgown for Gigi because I can't take the tears any more! Every night she wants that nightgown & we (Dan) is not that quick on laundry so it's not always readily available. Well, it was good timing because the Disney Store is having a BIG sale so she got several new night gowns and hopefully she will love them all! She also got Hamm as you can see. He seemed to be her favorite! It was fun to be in the mall again with her & Dan even if it was a very brief visit.

Rainbow!!!

We got to see a full rainbow tonight. It was so pretty! What a beautiful Father's Day we are having with Daddy today! And now we are on our way to play with some toys!!!! Toy Story 3! It will be fun to see how Gigi does with the 3D glasses.

Smart Food!

Gigi's eating ABC pasta for dinner & we're having fun finding letters & making words. Now that she can recognize every letter of the alphabet by sight we started working on the sounds they make. She's almost got them all down! So smart!

Max is finally ready for the summer!

Mommy Won!!!

Oh boy! It was a two-hour stand off but Mommy was triumphant!
Gigi requested juice this morning rather than her usual milk. "Sure Gigi! You can have juice."

I decided to put her juice in a sippy cup instead of a bottle. She was not happy at al! She sat on her bean bag for 30 minutes saying no thank you over & over! All the while I was washing bottles & dishes trying to reason with her. That didn't work.

After a while I prepared her something to eat and the sippy cup came with us. She was so mad and wouldn't drink and then it happened...I won! She gave in & drank from the sippy cup and her world did not come crumbling down around her & I guess she realized it tastes the same from the sippy cup as it does from the bottle and all was well in her world again!

I was so excited for her that I ran for her sticker card and gave her a sticker for being so very brave as to drink juice from a sippy cup and leave the bottle behind!!! LOL! I'm just trying to help her out...she lost a lot of stickers at Nana's yesterday! I'm not sure she'll ever get to the next "present"!

I Love These Little Feet!

One day these little feet won't be so little and pretty soon they'll make all the way to the floor. Since I can't freeze time I just keep snapping pictures...that's all I can do! Thank goodness someone had the sense to put cameras in our cell phones!!!

Too funny!

Gigi's making a card for Daddy (shhh, don't tell) & when she colors she has to say what color the marker is (usually a million times) before she will color. When she got to gray she said it then got up and went to a toy bin. I thought she just lost interest in what she was doing but saying gray must have reminded her of her little friend ray (a sting ray toy Daddy gave her not too long ago) and she went and got him and came right back to coloring. It was so cute! I'm not sure how she even knew where he was! She went right to the exact toy bin and we all know how many bins Gigi has! LOL!

Her card is very lovely too. It's very colorful! I think Daddy will love it! We're looking forward to Sunday!!!

She's still so tiny!

I just love that Gigi is still wearing the same PJ's she wore in China almost a year ago! As big as she is getting she's still a baby and I just love that!! I love my little sweet baby!!!

She's so sweet when she's asleep!

She's sweet when she's awake too! LOL!

So at what age is it ok for her to sleep with a pillow? She got one of those animals that turns into a pillow from Yvonne & Emily for her birthday and she loves it. She loves to lay her little head on it. Is this ok for sleeping though?? Thanks for any advice!

Well, I can finally go to sleep now & I'm sure it will only take me a moment to get there tonight! I'm pooped!

We found a rainbow tonight when we left Sam's. It was so pretty.

Woohoo!!! We have a beautiful carpet in our new family room!!!

Finally a place for Gigi to really get to play!!! I'm so excited for her!!!

She's doing non-stop laps around the room & her choo-choo train. I think this new room is going to do wonders for her sleep schedule! I'm worn out just watching her run. I should count how many laps she does! LOL!
