This afternoon Gigi, Emily, & I went to the library for a birthday celebration they had for Dr. Seuss. Well, it was a belated birthday celebration as Dr. Seuss is born on March 2...yes, that's right I share a birthday with the great Dr. Seuss or does he share it with me! It's very ironic as my husband will tell you I'm terrible at rhyming!
The girls had so much fun! Two teachers told the story of Green Eggs & Ham then the kids learned a little dance to the song Green Eggs & Ham after which they made Cat in the Hat buttons and hats. Then for the big surprise...The Cat in the Hat came for a visit!!! When I asked Gigi who it was she said, "meeeow". We all sang happy birthday to Dr. Seuss and the Cat in the Hat served birthday cake! Fun was had by all, especially Gigi & Emily. Here are some pictures of their adventure. Enjoy!
