The mommy lady woke me up this morning because I napped too late & long yesterday but I was onvto her and after my lunch I refused to fall asleep for a couple of hours & by the time I did the daddy man had already given in to exhaustion for about an hour. I finally gave in too about 2:30 at which time the mommy lady took a shower & fell asleep too at 3:30. It was her plan to only let me sleep for 2 hours so I would be tired tonight but regardless of the wake up call from nana the mommy lady & daddy man were so tired they slept until 5:30 at which time they woke me from a sound sleep! I got them back by being fussy for about two hours. The mommy lady was so sleep deprived that she fell asleep at which time I set my plan into motion...the daddy man rocked me in my stroller which, of course, made me fall asleep! This is where I really get them good because it was 8:00 & he put me in my crib and I slept until midnight. I woke up hungry and they really thought they were going to be able to give me a bottle, change me, & put me back to sleep! They are silly, silly grown ups! I've been in what they would call play mode for well over an hour now as they try every attempt to lull me back to sleep. It's quite humerous to watch their futile efforts. Every time they think they've got me ready I loudly express how wrong they were! You won't believe what they just did...they put on Mulan with the mandarin sound track as if this could possibly make me fall asleep! And since any chinese I do understand is in cantonese they could have played it in french & i would have understood just as much! I wonder how long I can keep them up tonight! It will be fun to find out!!
