Guanzhou Zoo

Not that many pix on my camera to upload, but plenty of real pictures on the digital camera and plenty of video on the camcorder. After all, if we post everything then nobody will come see us when we come home.
By the way...pandas are cool!!

The Long Wait for Gigi

We began our adoption journey in the summer of 2005. From the time we made the decision to adopt it took about 8 months to get all of our paperwork completed and for China to give us a log in date. Our log in date was March 7, 2006 and at that time there were 286 days that they had to get through to match us with our baby. It took 1, 123 days 12 hours and 11 minutes to get through those 286 days!!! The wait was an emotional rollercoaster but now that we have our beautiful, perfect, little Gigi we wouldn't have changed a second of that wait! We believe with all of our heart that this sweet little girl was always destined to be our daughter and us her parents and we love, love, love her!!!!
