Yes, you read that title correctly!!! IT'S A GIRL!!!!!
At 12:11pm this afternoon we got "the call" about our beautiful baby girl!!! She was born on March 1, 2008 and is now 13 months (and 2 days) old. We'll be traveling for her in about 2-3 months so she'll be about 16 months when we bring her home!
We are beside ourselves with joy!!! And cannot imagine how we'll get through the next 7-10 days as we wait for them to send us her picture and information.
Thank you EVERYONE for all your support over these past years, months, and especially these past few days as we anxiously waited for this glorious day!!!

The Long Wait for Gigi
We began our adoption journey in the summer of 2005. From the time we made the decision to adopt it took about 8 months to get all of our paperwork completed and for China to give us a log in date. Our log in date was March 7, 2006 and at that time there were 286 days that they had to get through to match us with our baby. It took 1, 123 days 12 hours and 11 minutes to get through those 286 days!!! The wait was an emotional rollercoaster but now that we have our beautiful, perfect, little Gigi we wouldn't have changed a second of that wait! We believe with all of our heart that this sweet little girl was always destined to be our daughter and us her parents and we love, love, love her!!!!

OMG, I am beyond excited to meet her. Words cannot even express how happy I am for you guys!! I cant wait to see her picture. I already know she is going to be one of the sweetest babies ever!
