I don't know how I let Dan talk us into leaving the house tonight! We were so tired & now we're stuck in the rain!!! Well, at least Nana & Papa will get an umbrella that they've been needing! We got one for them & we're even going to try it out to make sure it works just right!!!

My Little Witchy-poo!

What a great day!!! I got to sew a new dress for my baby! This is her Halloween dress to get her & us into the Halloween spirit. If you can't tell from the picture it's Hello Kitty wrapped up like a mummy!!! LOL!

Our home is really looking quite good! It's still a mess & not company-ready but it's almost impossible to tell the family room was ever a garage! Dan painted the closet doors & they'll be dry & ready to be put up soon (hopefully we won't be walking around them all week as they are drying in the living/dining room! He also painted the moulding & Ron hammered it all in place as well as put up moulding around the top of the bar area & attic door. It's the left over moulding from when they built our kitchen & it looks great!

We're so blessed to have such a wonderful home & playroom for Gigi! I'm calling it my mini-mansion from now on! It's the perfect size for us & plenty of space for play dates!!!

It's Ballet Day!!!

Gigi loves Saturday morning! She got up extra early today because she didn't take a nap yesterday & fell asleep at 7:15 at Nana's & stayed asleep even while traveling home!!! She slept 12 1/2 hours straight through!!! She had a very busy week! I wonder if she will sleep today? It's the weekend so I guess it really doesn't matter. Some how I think she knows that because she never seems to want to sleep on the weekend! Too much fun to be had with Mom & Dad I guess! And this weekend & next she gets us both on both days!!! Dan had to use vacation time before 9/23 so we planned a couple of weekends together. We were supposed to go to Busch Gardens today after dance but we are committing to getting work done in the house instead. Ugh!!! We just want it done so we can play on the weekends!!!

This is one of the new outfits we just had to have from Old Navy tonight! Every thing was 40% off - even clearance! it was so cheap!!!

As much as Gigi keeps growing she's still so tiny! I know she will be ready for 3T soon but this little shirt is 18-24 months & the skirt is 2T and as she danced around the house the little skirt kept slipping lower & lower! LOL! She looks so adorable, in my opinion!

I'm loving this pick up service!

Nana & Papa pick up Gigi three days a week now when they take her to music, dance, & the library. It's great but the house is so quiet & empty when she's gone! I don't like that part but it gets me on my way to work quicker!

Getting ready for a fun day!

This is how it went... "Gigi, are you ready to go to Toddler Tales with Nana & Papa at the library?". "NO! Go ballet, tap shoes noise!!!" "But today is library day not ballet day. We'll go to ballet again on Saturday" Then the crying began!!! So sad! She would go to dance every day if we let her!!! I love my little ballerina!

My big girl!

Gigi used the hand dryer for the first time without any signs of panic! I wonder if it had anything to do with Moaning Myrtle as we were in the Hogsmeade restroom! LOL! I was so proud I had to take a picture to remember the very moment she grew up just a little bit more! LOL!

Even Gigi was surprised!!!

We have our bistro area back!!! Gigi woke up to us cleaning the bistro table. It is so nice to have at least one area of our house back & clean! I wouldn't dare post pictures of the dining area!!! LOL! That is where all the stuff is going until it finds a home. One area at a time I guess. I'm so excited! We are only a few Sundays away from being able to invite company over again!!! Just in time for the holiday season! I love it! Did I mention how excited I am! LOL!

We have such a great family!!!

It takes us all forever to do things but I'm so grateful for my family! The moulding has been purchased & cut thanks to Papa & Uncle Runka! We just have to paint it then it can be hammered in place. I hope we get it done soon! Dan & I are just so lazy when it comes to this kind of stuff!

Ron also changed my kitchen light bulbs! I'm so very happy about that!!! It's so bright now!!! And he hung a fancy shelf in my bathroom and fixed a curtain rod! It must be so nice to have a live-in handy man! I wouldn't trade Dan for the world but I wonder how different our lives would be if he could fix things or put up shelves whenever we wanted! LOL!

I know Dan was super happy about the moulding getting started because he finally got to put up his big TV that we got at a great price last Black Friday. This goes to show you how slow we are at things! LOL!

Hooray! It's Ballet Day!

Wow! It's been a busy week for Gigi! We started with a visit to Hogwarts on Sunday with two very excited teenagers (Marie & Katie) & Uncle Joe & Tegan too, she had Kindermusik class on Tuesday, dance class on Wednesday, Library Toddler Tales on Thursday, & now dance class again! I'm tired just typing it all! I'm sure some of that wore out Nana & Papa too!!! LOL!

Gigi loves it all so we're going to let her keep going to all of her classes until she doesn't want to anymore. I can't imagine that ever happening!!!

This week was also super special because Gigi turned 2 1/2. She grew a little more this month. She's now 34 1/4 inches tall, she has 12 full teeth plus 4 more almost all the way out. She has two pointy top teeth that are almost completely out (they showed up about 2 months ago), and two new bottom teet that started peeking out about a month ago.

We're so excited about this weekend. Monday we're getting a visit from Aunt Kathleen & we get to visit Hogwarts again too!

Tonight we'll get to a quick visit to the Magic Kingdom when we take Aunt Carolyn's family in. Tomorrow, I hope, is going to be a day at home full of cleaning, organizing, & finishing some things in the play room! It would be nice if it was all done this weekend so we can focus only on the up coming holidays & family fun days!!!! One can dream!

First Costume of the Season!

I can't believe it still fits (but just!) When I asked her if she wanted to be a witch today she very excitedly said YES! And you know Gigi only says yes when she means it! Otherwise it always "no, thank you" no matter the question! LOL!!

When she woke up this morning I said come on Gigi let's get ready to go to Nana's. She grabbed Barney & asked, "can Barney go Nana's?" When I said yes she slid off the bed with a huge grin & Barney in hand saying, "Come on Barney. Go Nana's house & Papa too!". She such a happy little girl!!!

Present Time!

Gigi got some really fun presents for her 1/2 birthday!

She got a Classical Baby DVD, a ballet lesson DVD, a Beauty & the Beast songs & story CD, & a scribble & write Leap Frog toy.

What a fun day we had & it ended with cake & presents. It can't get better than that!!!

Happy 2 1/2 Birthday Gigi!!!

Gigi is 2 1/2 today! She's ready for ballet today too! We signed her up for Wednesday & Saturday because she loves it so much!!!

She just went into class & the teacher closed the blinds on the window completely! Ugh! I am so furious! I want to scream! This is the only wednsday dan & I will get to watch! So mad! I don't like this teacher at all!!!

I really want to take her out of class & leave just out of anger but of course I would never do that to Gigi! My blood is boiling!
Ok I'm going to count to 10 & get over it now. Maybe not right now but soon. I don't like this teacher! Where's our sweet Saturday teacher???
